    This webinar focuses on the risk assessment processes and procedures that schools and academies will be putting in place, in anticipation that the government confirms that schools will begin welcoming some year groups back from 1st June.     This webinar, aimed at new school governors in both maintained schools and academies, focuses on understanding the role and function of governance alongside the skills and behaviours necessary to become an effective member of a governing board. Referencing the Department for Education’s Governance Handbook and Governance Competency Framework, we explore how schools identify their strategic priorities and reflect on the role of governance in; school improvement planning, monitoring and compliance. Ofqual proposes changes to some GCSE, AS and A Level Exams for 2021

The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) has published the outcomes of its consultation on proposed changes to some of the GCSE, AS, and A-Level examinations for Summer 2021. The consultation ran between 1st and 16th July with Ofqual confirming that 28,972 responses had been submitted.
