The government is committed to extending free entitlement to childcare from 15 to 30 hours a week for working parents. To deliver the extended 30-hour entitlement, the government is committed to ensuring that early years providers are funded on a fair and sustainable basis that provides incentive for them to deliver both 15 hour and 30 hour extended entitlement.

Related Party Transactions

The Department for Education, through the Education and Skills Funding Agency, has introduced new statutory requirements for academy trusts over related party transactions. These new requirements came into force on 1st April 2019 and apply to all new transactions from that date.
