Better Governor Webinar Secondary Matters 1st November

This Better Governor webinar will focus on issues germane to secondary education. In this first of a series of Secondary Matters webinars, we will explore the curriculum and how current policy, thought, research and plans to overhaul the Ofsted Inspection framework will influence what is taught in secondary schools going forward. We want to engage you in a debate over issues such as how the secondary curriculum meets pupils’ needs and as governors how we know. We will look at the new careers guidance requirements and reflect on how they are shaping governors' monitoring. Above all we aim to enable governors and trustees to improve their confidence in asking questions about the curriculum and ensuring the offer in their school meets expectations of government, regulators and pupils.
