Keeping Children Safe in Education 2020

On 25th February the Department for Education launched a new consultation, with school governors as part of its target audience. The consultation is seeking views on the proposed changes to Keeping children safe in education (KCSIE) statutory guidance.


The proposed changes range from; the addition of a four-page summary of Section1 aimed at staff not working with children on a regular basis, to significant changes in the layout and content of the section on Safer Recruitment.
