Consultant: Steve BarkerDate posted: January 2017

This webinar replay will bring you up-to-date with the new Competency Framework for Governance, published by the DfE in January 2017

The Department for Education (DfE) has published a Competency Framework for Governance, detailing what the department define as the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for effective governance in maintained schools, academies and multi-academy trusts.

The DfE describe the framework as ‘the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for effective governance in maintained schools, academies and multi-academy trusts.’ This is the first of seven webinars exploring the framework and this initial webinar will provide governors and clerks with an understanding of the framework and its intended role in helping to shape school governance moving forward.

The webinar session is relevant to both maintained schools and academies.
