The government announced in the education white paper earlier this year its intention to require all state-funded schools in England to have all governors’ details published on a National Database. The Department for Education (DfE) has now released details of how this will operate.
From September 2016, maintained schools and academies will be required to submit, and keep updated, governor details to Edubase. Clerks and governors will want to read the full article now to learn more.
